“The Kitchen Witches” @ College Park Auditorium
Feb 14 @ 7:30 pm

Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two “mature” cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for thirty years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other.  When circumstances put them together on a TV show called “The Kitchen Witches”,  the insults are flung harder than the food!  The show becomes a ratings smash as Dolly and Isobel top both Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer.

Wear your favorite cooking attire… kitchen aprons, grilling aprons, hats, etc.  The audience will choose the most unique at intermission and prizes will be awarded.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students 12 and under, and can be purchased at Ace Hardware and Garden Center, Hy-Vee, or by calling the Grand Island Little Theatre box office @ 308-382-2586, or at the door.  Student tickets must be purchased at Grand Island Little Theatre.  Group discounts are available.  Check information on the website at githeatre.org.

“God of Carnage” @ The World Theatre, Kearney
Jun 4 @ 7:00 pm

Don’t miss this award-winning Broadway sensation! The New Yorker calls it “ninety minutes of sustained mayhem”, Entertainment Weekly says it is “a magnificently constructed play”, and the New York Times hails it as “first class”. Winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage tells the story of two sets of parents,
who are brought together after their sons get into a fight on the playground. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off. God of Carnage gives audiences an inside
look as the two couples quickly turn a rational discussion into a childish evening of name-calling, tears, and tantrums. It’s a comedy of manners (without the manners), that will have you laughing out loud.

Ticket Information:
Tickets $20
Tickets available online at CraneRiverTheater.org, or by calling 308-627-5796.
Tickets available for Season Ticket Holders beginning April 9th.
Tickets available for General Public beginning April 16th.
